Situated in 25 acres of peaceful grounds and parkland within the village of Sutton Veny. We can offer both a tranquil setting and the convenience of the nearby towns of Warminster, Salisbury and Bath.

We provide all the necessary care and attention for those who wish to spend their retirement in a secure, caring and homely atmosphere whilst respecting their privacy and maintaining their respect and dignity as far as possible. Avon Care Homes staff at Sutton Veny House Nursing Home are very professional and motivated and training is provided to ensure that high standards are kept. Emphasis is on quality of life with a lively programme of activities and occasional outings. Guests, be it friends or relatives, are always made to feel welcome at any time of day.
Sutton Veny House welcomes up to 28 residents. The large bedrooms, with en-suite bathrooms, are tastefully decorated and have picturesque views. We encourage residents to personalise their rooms with their own furniture to create an individual feel. Each bedroom is well equipped with a nurse call system.
The home has a superb dining room which faces out to the gardens. The food is provided for us by our experienced and well qualified cooks. Enjoy fine cuisine from our daily menu which offers a varied choice of dishes using only the finest ingredients. We cater for all dietary needs. We ensure alternatives are offered to suit individual requests. Residents are encouraged to eat their meals where they feel most comfortable. They can dine alone in their bedroom or join others in the dining room.
There is a comfortable drawing room where residents can relax and is perfect for daily activities. It has splendid views of the attractive gardens. The gardens are beautifully landscaped with several seating areas including a lovely sensory garden.
Qualified nurses and carers are led by our experienced Home Manager all chosen for their kindness and friendliness as well as their nursing skills. They offer warmth, care and companionship in a relaxed and homely atmosphere.
Our highly motivated and well trained staff offer the best in care to ensure all the residents enjoy a wonderful lifestyle. Our dedicated and compassionate nursing staff give exceptional support to our residents 24 hours each day.
Health professionals, doctors, opticians, dentists and chiropodists visit frequently. Hairdressing, reflexology and other specialist therapies are available as required.

Mum was moved to Sutton Veny House temporarily for 4 weeks. Her care was outstanding. The team took a lot of time and effort to go the extra mile to ensure she was happy. The residents are offered lovely fresh food with plenty of choice. The manager helped me enormously to move Mum after her stay to ensure a smooth transition. Truly top class care in a stunning location.

New leadership is making a terrific impact for good. At a residents and families meeting she held, which had extremely high attendance, the team were inspiring. We were listened to respectfully and resident’s views embraced.
